Choose a Name and Description for this new group under Define Group Properties. For example, we called our group Network Devices.

Optionally, you can expand the Advanced setting to adjust the Status rollup mode. The default selection is Mixed and the Refresh frequency default is every 60 seconds. The default settings will normally suffice.

Click on NEXT.

This takes you to the Add Orion Objects to your new group page. Select the nodes that you would like added to this group by checking the boxes next to them, and then click on the green arrow button labeled Add to Group. For example, we selected all network devices presently active in our network.
